Girl(s) Gone

While we were engaged in panic packing, the garage repair dudes arrived and started work. Very helpful. 😬

Bethany and her mom helped with all the last minute stuff and finally we were done. The van was so packed that Sparkle had to ride with me in the U-Haul (in a seatbelt). She likes being a front seat dog now.

I was about here when I started remembering all the things I forgot.

Like St. Joseph and the Lucky Sock!!!!

Oh dear.

When I had cell service again, I called my realtor and she is retrieving the lucky items bag that is buried next to the for sale sign.

It was a wee bit hectic.

We delivered the U-Haul to the Heintzberger farm, Bethany to her home, and I headed to a La Quinta to get some sleep before beginning this week of in-between chapters. There will be a lot of photos in this section of the life story 📕

Thanks to all for the support and encouragement and please have a wonderful Wednesday ❤️

Leaving

Mover Dudes arrived early yesterday and got the truck all loaded up.

I had planned to use pods to move but availability in my area was limited to a size that could not accommodate the length of the agility equipment. Bummer! But I have Mover Dudes on each end and so I just need to drive the truck to the new place 🍀

Well, the truck is not going directly to the new place because I do not have a new place until September 12. Rather, my worldly possessions will be hanging out at the farm while I take a much needed break from all things house.

Trusty Rusty makes one more trip to the dump this morning and then he has a new home.

I went back and forth about taking Trusty Rusty — I appreciate his loyalty and dependability — but there were no tow trailer options within 150 miles and so I took that as a sign. A nice young woman who is a friend of Remodel Dude will be taking Trusty Rusty this morning.

Harper and Carlos are with Dear Daughter. The other cats are safely enjoying the Presidential Suite at a cat resort.

The fire continues to burn — this is from last night and watch for the lightening, which I just happened to catch.

Unfortunately, no significant rain fell.

After the dump run and paper signing and triple checking to make sure I have everything, I will dig up St. Joseph and the Lucky Sock and we will leave.

The Adventure(!) Continues

Yesterday in Arco, Idaho.

💩

We got the van started up again — Thank Heavens for Friends and Family and a random Dad Dude 🙏

We made it back home without additional incident — I also did not turned off the van. When I did turn it off, it started right back up again 🤷🏼‍♀️

New Addition to the List:

Item #15,492: Get battery checked in van.

Happy Labor Day ❤️💪🏼
