N for Nerve-Wracking

It was a white knuckle drive.

Good thing I allowed an extra three hours for the storm — we made it with 15 minutes to spare.

The arranged marriage did not go quite as easily as one might wish but luckily we were at the repro vet’s office — ‘nuf said about that part of things.

And now we are checked in at an absolutely fabulous motel — Wall Street Suites in Bend, Oregon.

I have stayed here before — it is the BEST dog motel (Kay and Sue — think Ghost Ranch Inn!) but it is wonderful even without dogs (but why would anyone travel without a dog or three?!).

Here is Harper B on the beds they provide for the dogs (she is using both for extra padding).

I love this place. The “rooms” are all basically little apartments with parking right outside the door. I wish I could stay for a week — that might be long enough to recover from the drive today!
