Montana Moonshadow Update

The Moonshadow Birthday Party continues with this update from Megan about the magical Merlin:

“Merlin is great! He continues to relish in his role as a family dog in the mountains for Montana.

He is an excellent assistant for me in my home office, always providing moral support and the occasional cameo in my Zoom meetings!

He is adored by his human brother and sister and they take very good care of him.

He still absolutely loves hikes, walks and the snow! He’s always ready to go adventuring outside.

Wishing all the Moonshadows a very happy 4th birthday and a healthy year!”

Moonshadow Porter Has a Birthday!

Today we catch up on another Idaho Moonshadow — Porter.

Mike and Patty share:

“Where has the time gone? It seems like yesterday we were picking up this beautiful little guy and bringing him to his new family.

Porter is a wonderful kid that barks to much, sheds to much, drools to much but that makes him all Berner.

We love him soooo much and can't even imagine not seeing his happy face greeting us at the side of the bed every morning.

It's unreal the intelligence and personality that seems to come with all of the Berners. Porter likes to tap my arm or leg to get my attention so I can perform my Dad duties: pet me, let me out , I need a hug, let Micah out (our Lab), let Micah in, and the all important feed me!

Of course all of these come with a different look on his cute freckled face.

He loves walks with Mom at home and our cabin.

Oh I can't forget his bear hugs that he gives to both of us whether the time is right or not.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOONSHADOWS

Today we start the celebration of the Moonshadows’ fourth birthday!

We must begin by remembering their mother, Daisy, who had to leave a few month ago. There was not a kinder, sweeter girl than Daisy and she is deeply missed 💔

We also want to remember the Moonshadow who had to leave the party much too soon — Margie. She is not forgotten and neither is Toby’s grief at her loss.

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Margie Moonshadow 🌈🎉

Allowing sorrow to exist next to our joy reminds us to never take one second for granted. We can both feel loss and celebrate what is — and that is what we are doing.

Let’s begin with Laurie’s update about sweet Scout:

“I cannot believe they are going to be 4 years old!!! Where does the time go? Scout continues to be the best boy ever! He is always happy, affectionate, goofy and so lovable. He truly has been a blessing, everyone loves Scouty!!!

Berner-life!

And every morning he wakes me up with this face letting me know it’s time for breakfast!

Scout is always by my side…..even when I’m working, this is where he stays until I get up….then he follows me wherever I go. He is really my best friend!!!! I love him so very much. Thank you again for picking the perfect puppy for me!!!”
