Sparkle demonstrates RV Life from the dog perspective.
Yesterday I discovered that Boise has a great self-service dog wash option that is open late. Unfortunately, the way I discovered this was necessity.
I took the dogs over to Cindy’s for a quick romp before more scheduled Granny Nanny time, and Claire found something perfectly disgusting to roll in.
Sigh.
There was no time to bathe her before Galen and Bethany’s scheduled date and so Claire got to enjoy her delightful new scent for a while — in a crate in the van, of course.
YUCK.
But now I know about the dog wash place and Claire is clean and fluffy. Fourteen dollars and open until 9 — what a deal!
Things are quickly settling into Limbo here in Boise. It is not quite a New Normal because there is too much unknown and so Limbo seems like an appropriate description of the current state of things.
Berkeley is fine — except that her body forgets to bounce her blood sugar when it starts to drop. We are all experienced at testing her blood sugar, and knowing what kinds of things she should eat to bounce it back up.
I have been considering heading back to Montana since Limbo appears to be a relatively stable place for now. However, Dear Husband reports that winter arrived with a THUD in Montana and while I do like snow (and Dear Husband), Boise has the appeal of no snow AND grandkids — and Trader Joe’s.
Hmmmm…
