Priority

The book, “Time Management for Mortals” makes the point that we never have enough time for all the things we would like to do — or think we should do, for that matter.

This is so true.

This is a lesson I learned over and over during the past 20 months of Crisis Saturation. I just did not have the capacity to do everything I wanted to do — or should do — and so I learned to be intentional about how I spent my Little Soldiers (aka capacity).

It was a process of trial and error, with lots of tears involved — but I have gotten pretty darn good at being okay, and it is because I know to prioritize those things that make me okay.

Right now, that includes getting ready for a Specialty I have looked forward to for two years.

What I did not expect was the way my crises would reflect the goodness of others.

Those who have continued to show up: Thank you.

Those who do not demand instant anything: Thank you.
