I think we have a bit of movement on peace in the Bed War — too bad we cannot say the same about Ukraine and Russia.
The dogs agreed that the bed belongs to Karma. By acknowledging that, Karma condescended to say that they could share — if she felt like sharing, that is, and if Capella agreed not to bite her or use her as a pillow or whack her with one of her big paws…
Capella, still working on assertiveness, agreed to all of Karma’s demands.
Harper, closing in on 10.5 years, is mature enough to avoid all the nonsense and so she and Karma have the most stable truce happening.
It also helped that I agreed to go to Costco and buy more of the beds — I sure hope they are not sold out!
